Judy’s official area covers approximately 16,400 sq kms with a population of 47,821 at last count, their hometown of Tongala hosts 2000 residents.
The Campaspe Shire, Victoria and Murray River Council, New South Wales are renowned for cropping, dairying, sheep and cattle production plus, excellent wines of the Perricoota Region.

Affectionately known as the “River Goddess” Judy is a wonderful ambassador and is renowned for her Kookaburra Cry, which can be heard for miles around, whenever she competes at International events. Judy writes prolifically and recently had some of her short stories published in a book featuring authors and artists from across the Goulburn Valley, entitled “Celebrating Women”, a cross-arts community project created during the covid lockdown of 2020 (now available from the Kyabram Town Hall)
She enjoys travelling and can be booked for guest speaking engagements. Judy is accompanied by her husband Peter, who is dressed in the fashion of James Maiden, the founder of Moama. Peter is a retired dairy farmer, currently caretaking a 400 acre out-block, raising dairy calves and yearlings. He is also enjoying the challenges presented with updating their almost 100 year old home.
